Its Sonova reports that it has reached an agreement to acquire AudioNova from HAL Investments BV (HAL). The purchase consideration will be paid in cash, and values AudioNova at EUR 830 million (US$952 million). The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval, and expected in the second half of 2016. In 2016 AudioNova became part of Sonova - the world’s number one manufacturer of hearing systems and market leader in wireless communication systems for audiology applications. Sonova’s subsidiary In May 2016, Sonova announced agreement to acquire AudioNova International B.V., one of Europe’s largest hearing aid retailers, and successfully completed the acquisition of AudioNova in September 2016.
